Oct 30, 2018 · Setting the suspension to low mode makes the bike even more short-arse friendly and adding a low seat takes the height down to 800mm. At the other end of the spectrum, the HP style with sports suspension and Rallye seat takes the seat to a sky high 900mm.

The new BMW R 1250 GS and R 1250 GS Adventure already have two different sockets as standard. A 12 V vehicle voltage socket and a USB-A socket with 5 V power supply.
Jul 19, 2021 · GS Low seat is about 1" lower then the standard seat set on the lowest position. GS Standard seat has a low/hi setting (most run high on the front low on the rear to keep from being a nut squishier). In low this seat is about 1" higher than the low seat and set on the highest setting is about 2" higher. GSA seat has low/hi settings.

May want to check w dealer if Rallye can be ordered w regular height passenger seat kit as online configurator isn't always accurate. '22 configurator had that option for

Jul 30, 2020 · 2. Low suspension GSA is little under 2" lower then regular and about 1" lower then regular GS. 3. If both, GS and GSA have been factory lowered, they have same ground clearance and suspension (and mandatory Dynamic ESA), seat height is almost the same. 4. Low suspension DO NOT alter peg to seat distance, riding triangle remains the same!

Mar 8, 2019 · As a commuter. To choose the R 1250 GS as a day-to-day commuter would be both a curious and ultimately foolish choice, unless your commute was over big miles and on fast roads. This is a bike that needs space to roam free and will not respond well to the confines of slow speed filtering and stop-start traffic.

Just returned from a 2 1/2 day DBR trip with 15 other bikes that included mine and normal GS, normal GSA, BMW 800, Bmw 850 and a couple of African Twins. My low R1250GS rode the same gravel roads, river beds, off roads hills and trails with the same ease or challenges of the other bikes.

Aug 1, 2019 · For myself I started off with finding a quality shop to modify the seat, both for comfort and height reduction. Secondly I had a race tech dismantle the suspension and "re shim" them. I've found that to be an excellent compromise. Total seat height reduction was over 2 inches. Total cost was about $750. Canadian.
